My daughter sent me this link and I want to share it.Aaahhh

I want to share how well the author expresses the tender place nurses sometimes don’t, or can’t let you see. We couldn’t do our job if we made a habit of wearing our hearts on our sleeves all the time.

I also went to tell anyone with young kids, this:

Hang in there. For a while you might feel like your child/children look at you and only see an ATM machine; that their affection is directly proportionate to the size of the gift they just received.

When you get an acknowledgement of understanding like the one my daughter gave me (via email link), you grow close to your child in a way you never thought possible.

You, over there dancing with your arms in the air — Thank you.
