Don't Curse the Nurse!

Sharing support with stories & humor

on November 5, 2014

Don’t ever think that there is a perk to being texted and told to come in two hours later than usual.

You will find out when you clock in that there were three add-ons the day before, after you clocked out, and you will be staying two hours later.  You will get a little annoyed because you want to know why someone else wasn’t asked.

One case was a ruptured disc

The second, an appendix about to rupture

The third,a precarious leg fracture.

I still made it to the writers meeting on time. It turns out “perspective” was the topic for the evening.

Well isn’t that special.
