Way to give it a whirl!

Hey, remember that everyone gets turned down–a lot! You keep on trying if you like what you write.

  3. Hey! Rejection letters do NOT define you! If you write poetry, you are a poet. If you are not published in a certain venue, you are just not published there. Getting a rejection letter is supposed to be part of being a writer, of any kind! You do write well, and if that editor does not agree with that piece, go to another! There is no artist that fits into every space!

  4. Good on you for trying but it’s not over until you say it’s over. Many writers and poets get rejections all the time, keep looking if you feel so inclined.

  5. Doesn’t mean you aren’t a poet! I am not a poet… but still like to write what I call poetry! 😉

    True.
    You’re annoyingly right!
