    *IF ONLY,* we all could see our disabilities as blessings the way this mother sees.

    The way she describes her days and nights shows just how disabled (but not dysfunctional) they all are. But they are not bitter, nor dissatisfied. What a blessing!

      My sister has a daughter with Autism on the significantly challenging end of the spectrum. My niece works so hard to enjoy the things we all take for granted. My sister has a relationship with her daughter that inspires me.
