Taking a closer look

on April 7, 2017

Betsy at Off The Charts posted this essay published by a mother who, with delicate clarity, points out a ‘Blind Spot’ most of us have.

Please read it. It’s value is priceless.

  1. BETH says:

*IF ONLY,* we all could see our disabilities as blessings the way this mother sees.

The way she describes her days and nights shows just how disabled (but not dysfunctional) they all are. But they are not bitter, nor dissatisfied. What a blessing!

    • Susan says:

My sister has a daughter with Autism on the significantly challenging end of the spectrum. My niece works so hard to enjoy the things we all take for granted. My sister has a relationship with her daughter that inspires me.

  2. Janice Wald says:

    Hi,
My daughter is considering becoming a nurse. She loves science.
I met you at Danny’s site. Maybe you can check out my blog if you need any Blogging Tips. That’s what I write about.
